Raise your hand if you like waiting.
(insert crickets) Yeah…
I don’t like waiting.
I also don’t like not knowing. I admit I’m a little nosy inquisitive. I like to know things!
And yet here I am: waiting and not knowing.
I claim I want to grow in my relationship with God and yet sometimes I forget that a part of any good relationship is trust.
Trust…Yuck! (Read about my trust issues in my first blog post “Icebreaker from Hell“.)
Do I trust God to do what He said? What He promised?
Ummm…
I do trust Him. I do!
But if I’m being honest, not knowing WHEN He’ll do it seems to be a problem for me.
And if that’s an issue, then I’m not trusting.
When we lack trust we attempt to take things into our hands and our false starts and faulty attempts are to no avail.
We get into get rich quick schemes, wrong relationships, and jobs we later find out we despise, all because we do not like to wait.
But what if we waited with grace?
What if we were able to wait without a care in the world because we just knew full well that we are on the right path and that at the proper time all things will be revealed?
What if we waited with joy and peace, completely unafraid at what our adverse circumstances were saying because we allowed our hearts to be joyFULL and our minds to have peace that surpasses our limited understanding?
What if?
What if we waited with grace?
With Composure?
Elegance?
Style?
Confidence?
How would our season of waiting change if we waited gracefully, in comparison to worrying, stressing, getting anxious, impatient and being doubtful?
I think our lives would look so much better with a lot more grace, don’t you think?
Commit and be intentional today; set your mind to wait with grace. God’s got you!
It’s coming. Don’t worry.
Graciously wait.

My favorite part of this post was when you said..
“When we lack trust we attempt to take things into our hands and our false starts and faulty attempts are to no avail.”
If this isn’t the truth. This goes for our relationship with God, our friendships and even the ones we have with our partners.
Amazing post Christine.
Love you 💘

Boyyyyyyy did I needed this because this month is testing me from left to right . Feels like I’m fighting with Satan but, I know I’ll get through it because I’m a strong woman 💪🏾 . My favorite part is when you said:
“What if we were able to wait without a care in the world because we just knew full well that we are on the right path and that at the proper time all things will be revealed?”
And good question because it got me thinking to myself like why am I rushing, why not embrace the moment and see where it’ll take me. But, that is what I love about life – always expect the unexpected. I believe everything happens in the right time(in God time). I’ve learned consistentcy is key to success but, the key to life is patience ❤️.
Love you – always come at the right time …… btw I’m proud of you sis ❤️
Xoxo,
Stacey

Yes! Embrace the moment. There’s only one you. Stay true to yourself, don’t look over to the other lanes, and run your race at your pace. ❤️ He’s got you.
